History
West Coast Resorts has been in business since 1995 and we have become BCs most sought after Sport-Fishing operator.
Our whole organization is made up of people who not only love to fish but also have a genuine desire to serve our clients. For example, our lodge managers alone have over 50 years of combined experience in the sportfishing business. All of the managers spent the earlier years of their career with West Coast Resorts as "Instructors" (guides). Our head office has nearly 200 years experience in this industry. That speaks for itself!!
Our Service
Our staff are trained, attend work seminars, manager and supervisor training & orientation sessions, all in order to prepare for their work at our lodges. This separates us from other lodges and is why is the most important reason to choose us.
How would you expect to be treated when visiting West Coast Resorts? Make a mental list and then get ready to be overwhelmed! Our staff understand and deliver what you expect. Intensive training, work seminars and orientation sessions focus our personnel on what is required. You deserve to experience all that the West Coast Resorts’ remote areas have to offer while being catered to at the highest level. After all, this is your trip and everything needs to be first rate.
Our People
When broken down to it's simplest form I think WCR as a company has a passion for people. Having spent nearly 10yrs working in various ends of the business, that is one thing that sticks with me. From the top of the oranization right down to a seasonal deckhand or housekeeper the common denominator seems to be a high level of service. To me this is something that you don't teach someone, but look for it , and draw it out. To see people enjoying themselves and having a good time be it with family, friends or co -workers is plenty of reward in itself. I think of this when I think of the service industry!
Our Locations & the Advantage of Floating Fishing Resorts
Our locations have been carefully and strategically chosen to provide some of the best fishing on the coast. Floating lodges have allowed us to change locations over the years to move into newly discovered areas and to adapt to changing salmon migration patterns.
Research has helped us to find desireable locations that constantly provide our guests with the combination of fantastic fishing in secluded, remote parts of the coast.
